To start Bentley Map with a specific workspace in the ProjectWise integrated environment, it has to be launched from Bentley Geospatial Administrator or the workspace must be included as an argument in the application shortcut. Bentley Geospatial Administrator can generate the proper shortcut for you. The shortcut can be configured manually by appending " -wu<workspace name> " (without the quotation symbols and with no space after -wu) to the Map shortcut Target. Using the Geo_Example_Designer workspace as an example, the shortcut properties would look like this:
